Edit: Now I've creeped over 9000
Firstly, this journal is long. If you have the time and patience for it, feel free to read it.
But secondly, a limerick! (cause I was bored)
It has been 2 years since my last,
Remember my art, in the past?
This journal will measure,
At your own displeasure,
My page views: I'm still unsurpassed.
I probably should have left it until I reached (a power level of) OVER 9000, but I couldn't resist. And although I am beating everyone I know personally in real life (only in page views!! They mean nothing, calm down! 9000 is nothing anyway, considering I've been here since... 2004? Anyway, who's counting? ), there are many valid reasons for doing so. They are, from least supported and logical statement to most:
Fact a) Everybody loves Photoshop.
Fact b) Everybody loves Photoshop brushes.
Fact c) I made some Photoshop brush packs.
It then follows that (and ignore the programming format):
IF everybody loves photoshop brushes, AND I made some photoshop brushes, THEN
Either everybody loves me, or everybody loves my brushes.
It turns out it's the latter.
So. The moral of this journal is this: all of you who (still) visit me, time after time, to hear my ramblings and hope to catch glimpse of yet another mediocre piece of work and then act disappointed and comment on the lack of the aforementioned "art," I have one thing to ask of you:
Visit the galleries of those who I watch and those who watch me. Most, if not all of them, deserve far more recognition than I. All I ever did was make a (surprisingly popular) brush pack and a couple of circles with blurred "atmospheres" and white noise on a black background. Plus, they probably all update more often than I do. So please, if you're still with me, you have already taken the time to waste your life reading this, why not spend half an hour more just visiting these people's galleries? And who knows, maybe you'll find love? (For art or for a person, who knows )
Of course, this could all be shameless self promotion on my part. Or maybe I felt like writing something of great importance (cough) to make myself feel better, not that I feel bad in any way (Lady Life treats me well... unlike that more popular whore, "Lady Luck").
But really, please take the time to have a quick look at the following group of people. Don't see them just for their art, however, but for who they are.

Anyway, I'm off to bed. My midnight ramble is finished.

Stalkers be stalking.
Shoo, friends who have discovered I have a many year old account. Go creep elsewhere.

This is a status update to update my status.
In case anyone wanted to know, I'm still here. If you didn't want to know, ignore this.
Oh, I made the winning entry (read: only entry) for the cover of the school magazine.
It is quite lame, though. It's pretty much a portrait of the school, at night. hannahbull (https://www.deviantart.com/hannahbull) said it needed more aliens so I added the Independence Day ship with bonus explosion.
Anyway, since it didn't really fit with anything to do with this year, I decided to change it, on awesome hilarious suggestion by Fithakk (https://www.deviantart.com/fithakk). I will be uploading the new cover here soon (though chances are the real magazine cover will be using

So, just a quick update on stuff:
* Recently turned 17. Still young compared to my friends :P
* 10000 page views! About time. I've been here far too long =P
* Well on track for Uni, expecting a 95+ UAI (courses I want to do require 85+ and 92+) so I'll finish applying for them soon.
* The title for this journal is not random (and you can probably figure it out quite easily).
And a quick time-waster for anyone who feels like it (in other words, you are all tagged):
(Stolen from Calco (https://www.deviantart.com/calco), who was tagged by Fithakk (https://www.deviantart.com/fithakk), who was tagged by mainsprite (https://www.deviantart.com/mainsprite), and it may or may not go further back)

Heart Adobe!
Okay, so I recently got an email from someone asking me about how to add my brush pack to favourites (as I request it be added to favourites if people download it... 50,000 downloads and 900 favourites leads me to believe that people don't really care or know how to. Whatever.)
Anyway, the person also congratulated me for being featured in a "Photoshop Elements Techniques" magazine (or even, a "newsletter" of some kind). So, I asked for more information about that.
Turns out, get this, Adobe, the makers of Photoshop, referenced my brushes in one of their articles (something about making grunge backgrounds?) for this magazine (which requires
